HSE Ambulance Service
|
As part of the development of the Health Service Executive a National
Ambulance Service was established in 2005.
In 2009, the HSE Ambulance Service, decided to install an access control
system across 7 of its sites. Tripwire’s access control system was the
product of choice for the Ambulance Service. This system allows the
Ambulance Service to manage access giving staff different levels of
access to various areas across various sites. Security is of huge
importance to the Ambulance Service; hence it had little hesitation in
choosing Tripwire as its provider of a world class access control system.

Cunningham Lindsay |
|
|
Cunningham Lindsey provides a full range of loss adjusting and claims
management services. Highly confidential documents are stored at each of
its 10 locations throughout Ireland. A high security access control
system was required, and in 2008, Tripwire’s access control system was chosen
due to its professional and user-friendly functionality.
Employees can travel from site to site and gain entry using his/her
card regardless of that employee’s default location. Staff at Cunningham
Lindsey use “handsfree” readers, where the need to produce a card to the
reader is eliminated; the member of staff leaves his/her card in his/her
pocket and as soon as he/she approaches an access point, the reader
recognises the card and allows the employee access |

Tornier Orthopedics Ireland Ltd |
|
Tornier Orthopedics Ireland use Tripwire’s access control to manage their high
risk site.
Tornier designs, manufactures and markets joint prostheses to help
health professionals treat millions of people across the world and so
enable them to regain better and enduringly active lifestyles in the
shortest possible time.
Access control is an important consideration at any manufacturing plant,
but on a site where the manufacture of joint prostheses is a major part
of daily activity, a lot of factors make access control management a
vital requirement.
Tornier selected the Tripwire access control system in 2009 due to the extra
features, flexibility and versatility that it offered over its previous
system.
The site has 350 permanent staff, 40 temporary workers and 20 regular
contractors all requiring access to different areas of the site, day and
night, seven days a week. Up to 3000 card swipes can be made each day
allowing people through the 23 Access Control points situated throughout
the different buildings.
The site has many visitors each day, each requiring access to different
parts of the site. Tripwire’s access control system gives Tornier the
flexibility to offer full or temporary passes. If a contractor is likely
to visit on a regular basis a full pass can be generated to avoid the
need to repeat supplying personal details in order to create the pass.
If the contractor is only knowingly to be employed for the term of a
specific project a temporary pass can be created. These cards are
printed on site quickly and easily, and ready for use immediately. The
technology allows GSK to brand the cards with its corporate logo and
include a photo for identity purposes.

building and civil engineering contractors. Founded in 1949, the company
has a long standing reputation for integrity, professionalism and
excellence.
John Paul Construction has installed Tripwire’s access control system on
